Kelly is a native Floridian and has resided in South Florida since birth. Boca Grande has always been a special vacation destination for her and her family. They spent every tarpon season in Boca, fishing and collecting sharks teeth on the beautiful beaches. After graduating from the University of Miami in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in art and psychology, Kelly chose to make this her home.

Upon settling down with her cat in Englewood, Kelly began a full-time job at Italiano Insurance. Over four years in the insurance business at Italiano not only made her familiar with the island and its residents, but also the individual homes. Her knowledge of the insurance industry has proven to be a valuable asset in the real estate market.

Working closely with island homeowners sparked a desire to practice real estate. In the spring of 2006, Kelly obtained her real estate license and was urged to interview with Gasparilla Properties. After meeting with Broker/Owner Carol Stewart, the two decided they were a good match and Kelly became Carol’s full-time Real Estate Assistant. Kelly’s attention to detail and strong work ethic help her to her goal: to build her real estate career and become a leader in the local community.

Voted by her peers and officers as Englewood Area Board of Realtors Rookie Realtor of the Year for 2007, clearly showing her commitment and participation within her profession. Kelly is a member of the local, state, and national Board of Realtors and is also the Co-Chairman of the Public Relations Committee for the Englewood Board of Realtors. She continues to keep up to date in the insurance field.

Art and art history form the root of Kelly’s hobbies. She is a painter, sculptor, potter, graphic designer and creates hand-beaded jewelry out of her home studio. Every July, she donates a piece of artwork to the Barta Boys & Girls Club Billfish Tournament & Auction. Kelly has also donated works to the Charlotte Harbor Nature Festival, the Art In The Palms show on Palm Island, and the local Redbone Tournament for Cystic Fibrosis. Her art has raised thousands of dollars for children and charity. You will find her either covered in paint or in clay when she is not showing property!
