Chris MacDonald - Administrative Support

Chris, the eldest of five girls was born and raised in Walton, N.Y. a small farming community at the foot of the Catskill Mountains. Her father was a Physical Education teacher/coach, her mother owned and operated a Beauty Salon and together they were the proprietors of Walton Recreation Lanes.

In 1973 Chris and her family started visiting Florida’s West Coast during school’s winter breaks and soon extended it into the spring breaks as well. Upon graduation in 1980, Chris went on to attend Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, N.Y. where she majored in Secretarial Science. After attending only 1 year her family decided to make the move to Florida permanent and in August of 1981 the family packed their home and moved to the Cape Haze area.

Chris worked in various bookkeeping and accounting jobs until 1986 when she decided to do something different and joined the Boca Grande Club in the Housekeeping Department. After 8 years in Housekeeping she decided to accept the position in the Accounts Receivables and would stay there for 6 more years until she resigned in October 2000 to move to Forest City, Pennsylvania to get married.

While in Forest City she obtained a job quickly at the Forest City Nursing Center in the Accounts Payables and Billing Department for the Center’s Assisted Living facility. Only after two years in the heartless winters of living in the snow-belt region she traded her snow shovel for a sand shovel and moved her family back to Englewood.

In July 2003 Chris emailed to resume to a company in Boca Grande looking for a receptionist and to her surprise the company was Gasparilla Properties. Chris having worked previously with 3 of the 5 Company’s owners and acquainted with another she adjusted quickly.

Chris resides in The Cape Haze Resort with her two sons, Corey (16) and Nicholas (6).

Soon after graduating Aimie became a single mother with the birth of her beautiful daughter Crista. She made ends meet by working for Smith Barney brokerage firm for several years as Assistant Operations Manager. She decided that stocks and bonds were not her forte and moved on to work for a Cardiologist in Englewood.

Aimie met her loving husband Jim and married in 2004. She and her husband decided to move to West Virginia to help out on her in-laws farm, but it didn’t take long for Aimie to become homesick. She and her family returned to Florida after being there only 6 months.

Aimie started as the receptionist at Gasparilla Properties in October of 2004 and has since been promoted to Administrative Assistant in charge of advertising. Cheryl Stevens - Administrative Support

Cheryl joined the rental team in 2008. Working alongside Stacey Alderman, she quickly realized her diverse background would be very helpful. She utilizes her marketing, banking, secretarial, and even substitute teaching skills on a daily basis. Especially those days substituting in physical education, because she and Stacey are always on the run!

After living in various places throughout the United States, Cheryl and her husband, Kevin, decided to build their dream home on Palm Island. The home was completed about six years ago, but the whole family wasn’t able to live here full time until recently, when her husband retired from the Air Force. Cheryl and her two children, Jake (18), and Holly (15), moved here about four years ago, when Kevin was sent to South Korea for a year. The family is now very happy, and feels they made a great choice!

Cheryl takes advantage of living on the water, and loves both motor boats, and sail boats. She also enjoys watching the wild life and great sunsets.
